5052 H32 is one of the most widely used tempers in this alloy series. It offers an excellent balance of moderate strength and high workability, making it ideal for parts that require bending, rolling, or stamping without cracking. The H32 temper is achieved by strain-hardening and then partially annealing to stabilize the material. 5052 H34 provides higher strength than H32 while retaining good formability. It is produced through strain-hardening followed by partial annealing, resulting in a harder and more rigid sheet. H34 temper is widely used in applications that require increased load-bearing capacity—such as truck bodies, automotive panels, pressure vessels, and heavy-duty storage containers—while still offering the corrosion resistance and weldability that define the 5052 alloy.
